Rapid Match Recap privacy policy

Rapid Match Recap is an automation used by its channel owner to create and publish football recap videos. Visitors to this website do not need a Google account or an app login.

Google and YouTube data

When the channel owner authorizes the app, Google provides OAuth credentials for the YouTube upload permission. The automation uses that permission to upload generated videos to the owner's YouTube channel and receives video IDs and upload results. It does not request permission to read the owner's emails, contacts, or other Google account data.

Storage and sharing

The refresh token is stored as a GitHub Actions repository secret so scheduled uploads can run. The automation records uploaded video IDs in its repository to avoid duplicate uploads. Videos and their descriptions are sent to YouTube when uploaded. Google and GitHub process information as service providers for these functions. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

Retention and control

The channel owner can stop access by removing the GitHub secret or revoking the app in Google Account permissions. The token is kept only while the automation is in use. Recorded video IDs remain until removed from the automation's repository. Revoking access stops future automated uploads; it does not remove videos already published on YouTube.

Policies and contact

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. YouTube use is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
